Matthew Liu Fine Arts presents at SH Contemporary 2014 that explores global tendencies in contemporary art. Featuring works by Eduardo Arranz-Bravo, Fernado Prats, Vik Muniz and Zheng Zaidong. Weaving a cross-cultural narrative, Matthew Liu Fine Arts’ booth places together a diverse group of artists in dialogue in their sensibility and approach to the global cultural flow. Many of these artists travelled extensively throughout their careers and drew inspiration from the aesthetic and cultural traditions of foreign nations. This curated exhibition will examine the various concerns and tendencies that arose throughout the world, variegated by individual artists’ sociopolitical backgrounds and commitments.
